SYNOPSIS

Siyeon receives a letter of acceptance to graduate school abroad and dreams of emigrating. However, she hears that her grandfather Yeong-beom could die soon. She feels that she has to stay by his side. Two different ways of life—her mother taking care of Yeong-beom and her aunt living differently—make Siyeon think hard about leaving Korea.

PROGRAM NOTE

After receiving an admission letter from a graduate school abroad, Siyeon is not happy. Her family¡¯s situation deprives her of the moment to enjoy her effort and the achievement, and this makes her feel guilty. Her grandfather, Yeong-beom, is about to die after a long struggle with illness, and her mother, who has been in charge of caring for him, hopes Siyeon will change her mind and stay home.
